In short
The site runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. It makes no request to any third party until you choose to open a booking calendar, and it collects nothing from you unless you write to us, ring us, or book a call.

Booking a call
The contact page offers a booking calendar for each of us. These are Google Calendar appointment schedules, and they sit behind a button rather than loading on their own. Until you press it, nothing on the page is requested from Google and Google sets nothing in your browser.
When you press it, the calendar loads from Google and Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and browser details, as it would if you had opened the booking page directly. If you then book, the name, email address and anything you write in the booking form go to Google Calendar and to the person you booked with. Google processes this on our behalf under its ownprivacy policy.
We use what you send to hold the meeting and to carry on the conversation you started. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you made to us. If you would rather not involve Google, email or ring us instead; the addresses and numbers are on the same page.
Email and telephone
If you write to us or ring us, we hold what you send for as long as the conversation, and any work that follows it, requires. We delete enquiries that go nowhere within twelve months. Our email is Google Workspace, so messages are stored there.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the technical details of each request, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse, and keeps short-lived logs for that purpose. Fonts are served from this site, so apart from a booking calendar you have opened, no request leaves for anyone else.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and includes no analytics or advertising code. The only cookies that can appear are Google's, inside a booking calendar you have chosen to open. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to until you open one.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to richard.daly@amdgsystems.com and we will respond within a month. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. We do not notify visitors individually.
