Technology for organisations that keep records about people.

AMDG is a two-partner consultancy. We design and build the systems, websites and data protection that institutions, membership organisations and small businesses depend on, and we are straight about when a smaller change would serve you better than a rebuild.

What we do

Six kinds of work

Most engagements are some combination of these.

About our services

Systems architecture and modernisation

Replacing systems that have outgrown themselves, in steps a board can approve and fund.

Data protection by design

GDPR built into the structure of a system, with the assessments and agreements to show for it.

CRM and back‑office systems

Chosen for the organisation rather than the vendor. We have deployed more than twenty and favour none of them.

Custom software and platforms

When one thing needs to be built properly: platforms for many branches, reporting, members’ portals.

Websites and communications

Fast, accessible sites in English and Irish, and communications run to a written routine.

A second opinion

An honest assessment before you commit to a rebuild. If it will cost more than it saves, we say so.

How we work

Five things we hold to

They cost us work now and then. They are also why clients come back.

  1. To the spirit of the agreement

We deliver what was meant, not only what was written down.

  2. Diagnosis before prescription

If a rebuild or a new platform will cost more than it saves, we tell you.

  3. Evolution over revolution

Where personal or financial records are involved, steady upgrades beat big launches.

  4. Security and data protection in the foundation

Designed into the data model from the start, where it is cheapest to get right.

  5. Deliberately small

The person who scoped the work is the person who does it.

Who we are

Two partners, two countries

AMDG began in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2021, as evening contracts alongside full-time jobs, and became a full-time consultancy with an Irish company in Waterford in 2025. It is owned and run by Richard Daly and Daniel Torzala, with contractors brought in for particular skills.

Most of our clients are institutions and smaller organisations with real obligations and no technical staff of their own. Before AMDG, that experience came from regulated systems in insurance and government, where a badly modelled database eventually shows up in an audit. The same standard turns out to be affordable for organisations that were never going to pay enterprise prices.
